So lets get some facts straight.
Rear commander keeps rookies from voiding their bowels.
Nuke wipes out the entire map.
IF rear commander, the guy who never sees combat die to XCOM BABY, Rookies loose their shit and it all goes thumbling down.
So i deduce that every rear commander should have a nuke and prime it on first turn. If mission goes swimmingly, it gets recovered. If shit hits the fan, its time for a noble sacrafice. If XCOM BABY takes out the commander, everyone on the field is already dead, so might as well get honorably vaporized while their shit is still inside them, and not smear on their pants and faces.
