I'm glad I was able to play Earthbound and Mother 3 during my NEET period a couple years ago. Now that I work two jobs (both EMS where I spend a majority of the overnight shifts sleeping) I rarely have time now.
I'm currently using Mato's thingies to translate Mother 3 into my native language (as a personal project, of course) and so far I'm having fun.
I have only to translate menu text before I tackle the main script and start having nightmares.

Next year marks ten years since I got into Mother via Earthbound. It's a lovely series and at the time I was instantly hooked on its atmosphere. Replaying it on the Virtual Console and it still holds up with the characters, music and setting.
Can't wait to celebrate it properly.
Here's to Lucas not getting absorbed into Ness' alt specials. Mother really needs the representation.
