I think it gets diminishing returns at higher health. The Overdose risk only happens is you use it while it's under 20 on the charge so don't use it multiple times in quick succession.

It has a loading percentage, "ammunition" if you will. The more you load it, the safer it gets, the more you heal yourself.
If you clickspam it you will die. There's even an acheivement for killing your teammate this way.

If you walk around with Excidium or Sulfatum you don't need much healing anyway. A light build would only take a good all-round combination with high ammo efficiency, like Motra + BK, or BK + melee. It has next to no weight and lets you go fast even in heavy armor.

Stats don't really do MUCH but most important stats for a character like yours would be Accuracy
Conserve ammo and use the Heavy Armour, you'll be a walking tank
If you're going for something Scout/Snipery then just invest some into sneaking and get the cloak as soon as you can
That image guide for newbies should mention that first thing you do after running EYE is to go to options and set AI according to your play style and tone down the spawn rate.

the problem with the character rolling system is you can use the super gene to get great stats across the board. if you want to avoid that for personal reasons just go with agility and accuracy and supplement with your choice of utility from medical/psy/hacking. Psy is really strong in this game I find it hard to avoid Psy things completely (your own bot army, healing, force push, etc).

Game has a lot of promise but ultimately is very lackluster. I have played through the game probably 8 times all the way through. You will find that the maps initially seem to offer alot of variation and creativity but they really don't.
Furthermore its possible to get completely screwed in this game. For example if you do not have the right weapons by the time cyber demons show up you are up the river. Some maps will be borderline impossible for you if your relying on a clone army etc.

There's a huge maze of mine tunnels below Paris, it's easy to get lost so it's illegal to enter but obviously that doesn't stop people. There's pretty much a subculture of people who roam the tunnels and a special police unit to catch them/find lost people, it's pretty crazy

I was in the demo and I saw that concrete pipe to knock through a wall like from the trailer that says "dynamic levels!". It opened up a dark parking lot kind of area, like pitch black, and the music changed and I felt really bad, but there was nothing down there.
