I played PSX/N64 games decently smooth on my android smart phone like 3 years ago. 3DS should easily be able to emulate SNES games. Sounds more like nintendo being lazy.

Didn't read the article in full but it seems more like they're talking about the transition of creating a megadrive 3D game on the 3DS, which it seems like they had to almost start from scratch. That's not exactly the same thing as a SNES game.

It's actually a very fun little game, the object is to drop all of the allocated blocks provided onto a platform without any of them dropping off the platform.
All different shapes makes stacking and balancing the blocks difficult, there are blocks with special conditions like ones that will reverse gravity, shatter upon being weighted upon, or having too many blocks stacked on top.
If I'm not mistaken Art of Balance Touch has a demo too.

2 is definitely a great starting point for anyone new to the series, 1 is unforgiving with its lack of password system or energy tanks.

I'm severally disappointed in you, /v/. It's $20 right now, on sale from $30 or $40, but I highly recommend it if you enjoy tough platforms. The main mechanic is a fishing line swinging type of deal which feels awkward at first, but is very satisfying once you get the hang of it.
