i was having fun with it but then i started playing terraria for the first time and lost interest in it. play terraria instead.

It's an indie Harvest Moon. If you like Harvest Moon you'd probably at least think it's decent. It has the same slow burn gameplay where you do the same shit every day for months getting small amounts of progression in funds and romance over time. It has most of the bad parts of Harvest Moon and the good parts.
It has minor combat mechanics which are pretty brain dead but is something to do, gay romance if you're into that thing, kinda shitty character art, crafting mechanics, a farm that allows you to basically build anything where you want it, small quests to build relationships and get money, decent music, and a comfy atmosphere.
Fair warning though, halfway through the second year it can get boring. By then you'll probably be married, have every upgrade, and have set up sprinklers to water everything for you so there isn't much to do. I still put in like 80 hours though. It's pretty comfy.

Currently having a comfy blast. Worth a pickup for its price. Omce you get a hang of it, like what to do and shit, then you start having fun, otherwise you feel out of place.

The fuck have you been doing? The game actually limits you to two gifts a week for romances, so it's barely a required effort. And the version on the sprinkler that covers eight spots only requires refined quartz, a gold bar, and an iron bar.

To my knowledge they never mention being bisexual once. Only in like one or two romances do they even bring up the fact that they wouldn't typically go for someone of the same sex. I went through the entire game without even seeing one bit of dialogue related to someone being gay or bisexual.
It's only there if you pursue it. If your standard for something being forced is it existing as a mechanic within the game at all then alright.

Honestly can't say I know. I know that if you're married you literally can't hit max affection for other characters that you can marry. You can still see the scenes associated with certain affection amounts for those people, but anything past like 8 hearts is cut off since that's all romantic stuff.
If you're not married I'd imagine you could see all the romantic scenes (if you choose to make them romantic, you can typically back out) but until you give one the marriage item nothing happens. So yeah, I guess you could sorta have platonic relationships. You just wouldn't get the end scenes where stuff gets serious.
I had to drop it when I started making the daily activities into a routine (farming, waiting for bus, giving npcs 2 gifts a day). It started to feel like a job.
