Even in the novels all the Ventrue get fucked or are total imbeciles, and yet they should be very strong since they have fortitude that can make you virtually invincible and can overpower someone mentally easily with the dominate + presence combo. Not the anon you responded to, but I'd just like to point out that everyones definition of power is different. Ventrue are strong in the way that they can either convince, dominate or negotiate their way into getting things done. Physically they're obviously far from being the strongest but given how they're the defacto rulers of the Camarilla (an organization consisting of 7 vampire clans) and the ones who dictate laws for the undead within several major cities across the globe I'd argue that their relative power is quite above that of any other clan. They're also the clan that most closely works with humans, so their relationship with them is on the best of terms whereas other vampire clans either dismiss them completely or keep them at arms length as nothing more than indentured servants.
I've started and played this game up to the sewers 4 times now, but I stop every time I get there. My game always bugs out in some way, either making me lose a ton of time or corrupting my entire playthrough. In addition, the combat sucks ass and is no fun/even feasible as certain races.
I love, love, love the atmosphere, dialogue, and story, but I can't find a good and feasible way to play through the game. I feel like such a casual.
