I want:

>Repulsion field you can build around your base to keep away hostile monsters.
>suit upgrade that wards off hostile monsters, maybe consumes batteries.
>some way to breath longer like an upgrade for the rebreather.
>more variety of smaller friendly critters.
>better building placing system.
>upgrading batteries to last longer.
>underwater currents that kinda act as a weather system?
>ability to grab onto/pet creatures like the reefback.
>another vehicle.
>more biomes.
>a backpack.
>distance reader for beacons.
>upgrades for the seaglide.
>more o2 upgrades beyond the two we have.
>nets for capturing wildlife, we already kind of have the grav ball tho.

Dive. Ground in the Grassy Plateus area might as well be entirely made out of salt.

Docking station for the Seamoth. It can recharges it automatically and you can equip it with a modification station for it

The moonpool is an underwater docking building for the seamoth. You can build a seamoth upgrading station there aswell.

So how do I get more options for base building? I've currently only got the default stuff and a desk+chair I found near the aurora, but I've seen a bunch of neat shit in screenshots, like beds and different shapes/sizes of rooms and have no clue as to how I'd begin to acquire those.

Gravity anchor from the pod is broken at the start of the game. If you don't fix it with the welder it will slowly drift away.

where's a point where they are just too big to be scary or even interested in some tiny little diver

What are you talking about?
>>
>>343113059
For it's current price? It's worth it. You'll get more than enough hours out of it if you like survival and deep sea games. It gets a little stale around the 30 hour mark but the game is still being developed so that will supposedly change as they add more end game content

Friendly reminder the biggest creature currently living on earth feeds exclusively on little critters about the size of a grown man's finger.
>>
>>343113112
like the crabsnakes are scarier than the Reapers

there needs to be more mid level creatures not just big ugly giants

and if they're going big the dragon is a lame choice

>did you fix everything inside? i did that asap and it has never moved plus I think it said something about anchors

Oddly enough, it started drifting when I fixed it. Was getting tense so I looked it up and it turns out it could also be a bug. It was neet though, definitely had me on edge.

a gigantic monster wouldn't waste its effort on a tiny solitary spec for the same reason a whale wont chase down a single krill

How "horror" is this game?
Will I encounter giant creatures that make me shit my pants?
>>

Even if it was passive towards you, exploring into the complete black and all of the sudden your light shines on something that big, it would scare most people shitless.

It already scares me to explore the great darks as it is.

this

Was wondering this too. It's the only thing that keeps me on edge, that there's some fucking behemoth underneath me. Otherwise it's be pretty bland.

Varies from person to person.

I don't find this game remotely scary, it's very very comfy.

If you are the kind of person that is completely afraid of the vastness of the ocean beneath you, then you'll have a lot of fun.

If you are afraid of just the monsters themselves, then you'll have fun for a while before you realize you've seen them all.

Looking at the roadmap maybe end of the year?: They have heaps of shit "planned" for the next couple months so I guess we'll see.

Game is worth $11 as is imo, I've already got 6 or so hours out of it and got more coming yet so I don't mind.

Multiplayer/Co-op would be nice though, that's a huge let down for me

The Reaper Leviathan being quick enough to move far enough from the player that it fades out of sight, and fast enough to almost instantly be on top of you

Mixed with the fact that it's fucking cry travels far too fucking far underwater, completely ruin my ability to explore the depths.

I've been down to the Grand Reef (Which is a shitty name btw, fucking boring ass spherical mushroom shit, nothing "Grand or "Reef" about it)

they haven't really given a face to anything

and the little world building storyline tid-bits you find just refer to "They"

Creatures like the Reaper Leviathan make absolutely no sense considering where they frequent in-game at the moment.

And from a biological stand point.

They're too outright combat focused, (Mantis like Mandables just kinda ruin them)

Considering their speed, they should be in the Abyss, or mountain area almost exclusively. Wide open areas to allow them to utilize their speed, and catch pray unawares. Also not enough prey that would suit them in the game either.
>>
>>343115358
its worth the $10 or 30 minute torrent to enjoy it while the threads are fresh. even if it doesnt become the best scuba game ever, its still really enjoyable right now. and like it or not, early access is how the cool atypical games get funded nowadays

I went searching, got materials for my increased Depth module, but I'm too scared to use it since I ran into 2 Reaper Leviathans on my way to it. Those things are spooky, and APPARENTLY I'M NOT ALLOWED TO MOUNT A HARPOON OR DECENT WEAPONS ON MY VEHICLE

I've been playing and following the development of this game for a long time. In the last few updates, they've been adding nothing but seamoth/cyclops upgrades allowing us to dive really fucking deep. Got a feeling we'll go to the very bottom soon enough. They've also moved Seamoth fragments out of Grand Reef, making them easier to access early on.

They really want us to go in deep.
