I sold a WiiU today.

My coworkers looked in awe as I rung up the sale. One of them called the Manager On Duty so he can witness the transaction (he dropped what he was doing and came running out of breath, sweating like a stuck pig) and the customer seemed taken aback when a large crowd had formed to see this. Two of my coworkers snapped pictures of the event. I'll post them later. A local news reporter happened to be there and interviewed the guy outside the store. A Fox news chopper came out of nowhere and can be seen chasing the poor fella as he was driving away.

No one can remember the last time that has ever happened. We were quite shaken by the incident, as if we had just witnessed a supernatural phenomenon. HR has scheduled a counselor to speak to us in the next few days to address any long term post-traumatic symptoms.

>sweating like a stuck pig

That isn't a phrase or saying.
>>
>>316513314

>The phrase "sweating like a pig" actually has nothing to do with the animal that you might find on a farm. Instead, it refers to iron "sows" and "piglets" made when smelting pig iron. In traditional iron smelting, liquid iron is poured into a mold shaped like one long line with many smaller lines branching off of it at right angles. This looks similar to piglets feeding from their mother, so these pieces became known as pigs. After the pigs are poured into the sand, they cool, causing the surrounding air to reach its dew point and turn into moisture on the pigs, like they are sweating. When the pig is sweating, it's cool enough to be moved.

Is this where "pig" iron comes from as well?
>>

I actually went to the games section of a Target a few days ago for shits and giggles (hadn't been to one in years). My god, it was fucking barren. Also, they had started selling cheap plastic crap (the kind wannabe "gamers" buy) and by the looks of it that section got more traffic than the games themselves.

What exactly do you mean? Low-quality figurines?

No, that's iron extracted from slaughterhouse runoff (eg blood, which has a high iron content)

>selling a console
Is there legitimately any benefit in selling a current gen console? It's clear that OP is just fucking around, but seriously, I've only heard nothing but regret when people talk about an old console they sold.

This is doubly confirmed by the fact that pigs don't actually sweat and is why they wallow in mud - it is a way of regulating body temperature in the absence of sweat glands.

I still visit stores every so often, but I never buy anything. Just lift stuff occasionally.

I spend money online almost exclusively.
