Basically she's not silly; she's plain childish. I have very hard time taking her and her friends seriously because of her behavior. She feels like an eternal 16-year old pseudo-lesbian rebel, not a "fuck authority"-kind of bad girl rebel. First I liked her not-elvish attitude but it didn't make a lot of sense at the long run. I romanaced Sera as an Elf mage on my second playthrough just to see if it lived up to the sheer amount of butthurt I'd seen, and instead I ended up liking her. She's childish as shit but it's a clear defensive mechanism and I'm ok with that.
That said, I can see why people hated her. She calls you out a lot and it takes some compromising on your part to start the "real" relationship and stay with her. I actually liked that because I'm kind of burnt out on the whole "Every party member thinks you're Jesus" thing.

Who would you ship in Baldur's Gate?
I played a female elf, but in BG2, I naturally used the cheat and courted all the three women at once (it just happened, because lazy to do it individually and it felt bad to refuse them when they were all in the party).
Looking back I think I like Aerie best. She is probably the weakest and least cool of them (although when she gets access to high level mage spells, not any more, I guess), but she's a poor girl and presses my "protect me" buttons.
Weird how I haven't thought about potential pair-ups between the other women there (Nalia, Mazzy).

Two CHARNAMEs, the good one romancing Jaheira and the evil one romancing Hexxat. I've found Jaheira's romance to work surprisingly well as a yuri romance by merely changing the pronouns. It's the perfect example of a romance sidequest that was written for a MaleMC but when playing it as a FeMC you realize is in fact entirely gender neutral. Never tried Aerie's and Viconia's as yuri romances, but I reckon these two would need a bit of rewrite to flow better.
Apparently Siege of Dragonspear also has a yuri romance option for good characters, so I plan on going for that too with my good CHARNAME once I'll get around playing SoD.

I made the changes myself. However I don't know how to do it other than brute force with zero compatibility with other mods or even between different versions/updates of the game, so I can't really release it as something usable by others. Still, I can write a small guide on how and what to change if anons are interested.
