I saw the first episode a year ago and never knew they would make more. Holy shit did it get good. That was way better than it had any right to be for a short animation. I would gladly put money into something like this.

TV doesn't provide much /u/, there is some in Once Upon a Time's newest episode apparently, Wynonna Earp is setting up a lesbian couple, and Person of Interest S5 starts next month so that might be something.
It makes me sad that there isn't something big to look forward to.

Wynonna Earp is sadly a lot of low-brow het comedy and occasional fun/campy supernatural stuff. I wouldn't recommend it yet but since there really isn't anything else out there at the moment its hard to be choosy.

Well i watched the first most of what is in the OP and i can't say its very good, the way its coloured and has this very blurry(?) effect to the whole animation while the style is that 'shitty quality anime haha' look doesn't work it just looks a bit awful to look at really.
I feel like the style they were going for in how it looked visually and how the punchlines were delivered were done better in a production like egoraptors "girlchan in paradise" who mixed the western humour well with the anime tropes. There is very little cohension with anything, overall it seems they just did a poor job of mixing western humor with the anime tropes also not having a good understanding of how to use intentionally poor quality elements with professional quality elements such as that more recently used blur effect or colour pallette.
I think they had some of the typical humourous elements down fine but they just didn't know how to implement it well, the delivery and squeezing in of everything due to their short run time probably factored a lot into that. Honestly though it wouldn't have been produced if at least not one person found it entertaining so i guess it has something going for it.

Lost Girl ends with Bogetting together with the doctor and Tamsin gets preggo by who she thinks its Bo but is actually Hades, Bo's dad, using Bo's form then she dies. Tamsin's kid literally gets re-introduced in the last bit of the last episode, that happens years later, making out with a girl as a call back to the start of the show, only this one is a girl instead of a boy.

That's what happens with a depressingly small pool of half-decent /u/ movies to choose from. IM&Y was fun and cuteand Lena Headeybut a lot of the side stories felt impersonal or forced so I was bored whenever the main two aren't on screen interacting.Doesn't help it is yet another married lesbian cheats for true love, but it is one of my favorites of that bunch
DEBS is my most watched and sometimes I like putting on Girltrash for fun. Duke of Burgundy is my favorite thoughtful /u/ movie, it is kind of relaxing to watch now even though it is tense at times.I also watched the first half of Blue is the Warmest Color a few times after my first full viewing. I now believe the story ends after they pass out from hours of ridiculously choreographed and sweaty sex
I found two french movies, anyone see these yet?
Summer of Sangaile/Sangailes Vasara (2015)unfortunately this has het sex at the start and suicide themes throughout. The main couple have crazy good chemistry and flirt a ton though so it isn't half bad overall. Kind of reminiscent of BitWC actually but with a better ending.
Summertime/La Belle Saison (2015) haven't seen this yet but it looks like it also has potential.

The little girl in that one episode put it pretty good, what with "subdued/muted feelings". That would've been okay and doable. Believable and entertaining (Root being brash and ridiculous, Shaw trying to appreciate it in the little ways she can. Small things of big significance to both of them.)

Well, in the same episode Shaw says she feels anger just fine and doesn't seem to have trouble with lust either, based on how she describes her sex life.
I think the real problem is the scene about her dad dying. It's easy to buy someone with muted emotions having bad bedside manner, but it's a little silly that she'd show more emotion towards a girl she met earlier that day than her own father.
I am watching season 6 of parks and recreation, and I'm more puzzled than ever as to why Leslie and Ann aren't married yet.

Leslie and Ann are never implied to be attracted to each other, so it's not exactly baiting. It's just that Leslie is an affectionate and childlike (though smart and super competent) person, so her best friendship is a lot more intense than usual for a woman in her late thirties. Ann, despite being more grounded, seems to like it and mostly follows Leslie's lead.
Plus, there's a running gag where Leslie compliments Ann's beauty and other good qualities with florid language, like "you are a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox" and "oh, Ann, you beautiful, naïve, sophisticated newborn baby".

So i just finished The Family...and while i can't rec it for /u/, the lesbian was one of the two interesting characters in the show.The other was the creepy paedo guy.The bisexual died, she was a terrible character thou.
If someone has the fortitude for some really shitty characters in a mostly interesting story give it a try, take into account that the show is not going to coming back and they ended it on not really cliffhanger but in a set up for a second season.

I think they people that have issues with this are too caught up in the mindset that tv usually has us used to, pretty much that they are baiting the viewers without pity.
I don't blame them because 99% of the time is what the producers of tv shows do, just look at Faking it or The 100.
But this show literally has no reason to do it, they already got cancelled and its obvious they don't give a shit about the channel interests only the fans and the story they have been telling since season 1, the episode was a gigantic step ahead into a fully developed relationship between Root and Shaw, we know now what Shaw feels for Root.
I can't wait for more.

Root turns her back on her God because of Shaw and now, from this episode, we see how equally important Root is to Shaw. We now know definitively how important they are to each other. Really annoys me how some people use declarations of love or sex as a metric for a ship going canon. Root and Shaw are ways past that.

i'm not usually a fan of"it was all in the character's head!" but this was probably the best way to catch up on half a season of missed character development and go through Shaw's actual feelings for Root and her team, since there's no way she would express how deep they run. Shaw actually monologuing probably would have seemed out of character.I can understand why people are mad, but, i wish they'd wait until the series was done to start pissing and moaning about queerbaiting. as overdramatic as it was, Shaw refusing to betray or harm Root at the expense of herself was enormous. Shaw believing that Root has been searching for her this entire time. Shaw believing that her team would never hurt her. fuck me, this ep sis. biased as hell but i am so happy with it. also fake death increases likelihood of real death not happening, i think? unless Shaw's line about one of them not making it out is foreshadowing then i cry forever.

Don't get me wrong. I loved the episode, especially the ending. I just thought the pacing strange, since everything (their relationship, the plot) was moving so damn fast. It felt so unnatural. Everything made sense at the end, but it was obvious they were trying to cram as many things as possible into this episode.

Personally, I see the problem with only one character being involved and subsequently (usually) disappointed, because it rarely goes anywhere.
Often enough (if not most of the time) it's dropped entirely.
Which, to me as the viewer, means it was a waste of time and, more importantly, waste of my investment in the character(s).

I feel like episode 5x04 demands a rewatch or three to really see how brilliant that episode was executed. Also, that sex scene though. Root and Shaw trying to top each other, how I've always imagined it would be.
