I'm planning to watch it but after reading the plot in wikipedia, which features a retard plotwist of cheating for a man and breaking up in the end....I cringed.

Are you joking? This movie is based of "Project Itoh", an award winning Sci-Fi novelist, who wrote a series of books that's garnered many awards before he died. This isn't your typical anime. For the movie, it's note-worthy, as we found out that the creative team behind it kindly made the show Yuri canon compared to the book (although from the author's blog before he died, he did say, it's meant to be Yuri.) However, the movie is a Sci-Fi and character driven story first, with the lead female protagonist and main female simply Yuri characters/Yuri involved. Certainly different from shows where the Yuri is the primary focus. And also, there's theBad End (But it's NOT Bait-and-switch)However, the Harmony movie is of the most Yuri canon shows you will be getting for the whole of this year.

Yeah I heard about it a few days ago from the Sakura Trick thread. Read chapter 1 online, but nothing much had happened besides senpai confessing to Airi. Airi then remembered her sister, Himari, wanted to have senpai's email address, so she asked senpai for it with the intention to give to her sis later. However, she accidentally saved it in her own phone contact list, so senpai has her address now instead of her sister's, forcing her to continue to fake being Himari.

Apparently Airi is not just some clueless innocent girl, as she let senpai take her to a hotel and wanted to sleep with her too, despite the guilt of lying to 2 people. Then she realized that the lie she's keeping is not to protect senpai at all (in case Himari rejects her), but actually to protect her own feelings because she's fallen for senpai.
The above sounds serious but I don't think this manga is gonna be angsty at all. If anything, it really looks similar to Sakura Trick in tone.
