Man, I'm still pretty hyped this is getting an adaption even if I've been let down in the past by adaptions to great material being pretty mediocre. I enjoyed the main series a lot though and it has all the elements to make a great show if Gokumi doesn't blow it, although I doubt they've gotten much budget for it either. Also I couldn't quite read all the later stuff, particularly a lot of the scifi tech related kanji, I need a few more years of moon. So it'll be fun to experience it again voiced. I kind of agree.
I hope one day yuri will be so common place that nobody will bat an eye at bad end and other less than ideal details in a "yuri" manga. Although right now, given the still relative scarcity of translated yuri works, I can understand if people want to avoid all drama and stick to purely yuri works instead.

To be fair compare that one-shot to Murcielago which has actual lesbian protag, yuri sex, gore too, and in comparison this contest one-shot turns to be quite bad and reek of 80-90s plot for yuri pairings.
People really can't say they want variety like that in yuri:zero kisses, zero yuri sex, just heterosexual animalistic rape and death for a girl.
If I want violence in yuri I prefer that girls would do that to each other.
