They probably know the rudimentary shit and there's probably some prayers and songs that incorporate Maria/the Virgin Mary(or St. Michael, as it were) as well as parts of the daily routine/school ceremonies. They occasionally acknowledge/namedrop statues of figures and sometimes mention offering a prayer.

Almost never try to make this kind of translations though, I usually stop when my mind already understands what's going. I know it's all ages and it's a story about "remembering how they met", but that doesn't mean it can't be a story about girls falling in love with each other. OK, even so the heroines were just friends in this story, there was no chemistry between them. So, for me, it's lacking what SonoHana is best at. The story about yuri couple. My second complain is, it's a kinetic vn. No choices through the story. Lame. I like to have a choice in SonoHana. Even if it will not change anything in the story, I like to see the different reactions of the girls. Overall, I bough this game on steam, to show the support and interest in this series.

That's called translation, not romanization. Romanization is a system meant to denote how Japanese is pronounced, using the English alphabet, whereas translation is just straight-up giving the English definition. For example, ミラクル means "miracle," but that's not how you pronounce it. If you were romanizing it, it would be "mirakuru," since that's how you pronounce the word in Japanese.
