Ralph Fiennes' accent is hilarious on repeated viewings.
Also, I have some objections with the artistic choices, like how every bad character has a German accent and every good character, even if he's German, sounds British or American. While this film is made extremely competently, it played a very boring black vs white story. That fits perfectly with mythical stories and fantasy films, but not with a story set in the modern age, supposedly portraying reality.
The Pianist is far better as an educational film and stays with you longer because it doesn't tug at your heartstrings to get your attention and affection.
