I don't give a fuck that the ticket was whatever you consider to be an outrageous amount. Even in LA where it's like $18 a ticket or something ridiculous like that it's still a cheaper form of entertainment for your dollar than most other paid activities.
And the prices at concessions are usually no more expensive than they would be at a ballgame. If it weren't for those prices, you'd be lucky to have a theater to go to, let alone a clean one.

Our GM at that same 18 screen cleared about $55k/yr after bonuses. They don't give a fuck about you until you are in a position to do some real damage, I guess.

i have a great job with high prestige because i work damn hard and make good money. at the theaters i feel obligated to make a mess, for three reasons
one it makes me laugh and gives me happiness.
secondly it gives the employee work to do and motivates them they wont get anywhere in life lazing around all day.
and third before all else it feels necessary to create a mess for someone of that low stature,
they've accomplished nothing in life and deserved to be treated like the fucking peasants that they are.
