I really don't understand Stephen Chow's series of Moneky King. He made three of them. It's all dead and stale gags. The main plot is always about the guy regretting over not taking the girl.

I have only seen the original, the remake when it came out, and the 2 newest ones. Loved all but the remake which I barely remember anyway. Can anyone give me some quick summary type info on what's good about the rest of the original series? I'm interested but not sure
