They're all good, Mission Impossible 2 and the second Bourne are sorta iffy, but still worth it. The first Mission Impossible is a Brian De Palma kino and honestly barely has any shooting-exploding action in it, it's more of a who did it.

Bests threads on /tv/. I can truly get behind this.

Loved Jack Reacher for what it is (thought i wasn't expecting much at first place). It's a well done action film with some great action scenes and funny dialog without being too over-the-top. Cruise delivery is brilliant and even if he's looking a little too bloated in this trailer it can still gives you a right vibe about the character.

Put me on the middle row Johnny, for i'm definetly going to see this at the theaters.

At this point I'm pretty sure none of the films Tom stars in have an actual script when the shoot starts.
It's almost like a "keeping up with the Cruise" reality tv show where they only know the name of the episode 'tom goes motorcycling', 'tom rides a cab' 'tom goes flying' and they invite a few A/B listers to go with him and they improvise the rest in costumes.

The first jack reacher was a 'tom goes to the gun range' episode.

>>
>>71967739
I loved the first one. This one seems maybe too much like a straight action film. The first one had a really odd tone to it that worked to its advantage, and my concern this this one just going full "on the run from the government" mode. Honestly one of my least favorite tropes, and we saw just enough of that in the first one.
>>
>>71977627
Cruise doesn't use a body double. I honestly think that as he's gotten older he's just determined to eventually die doing a stunt. I really think that's how he wants to go.

>>71970636

I'd be more bothered by some low rock climbing than being on top of that building, actually. Because if you fall while rock-climbing you might end up a vegetable, or die painfully and slowly while lying at the bottom with all the bones in your body broken. If you fell from THAT height it's like parachuting without a parachute, you get to fly for a good while and then you get pretty much instant death unless you're stupid enough to actively make yourself land feet first for an excruciating second of pain before death.

>mfw going to the cinema and getting a movie completely spoiled by the trailer showing up before the movie I'm watching, unable to ignore it unless you close your eyes and plug your ears and start making noises like a retard

It's actively made me not watch some movies when they're shown at the cinema because I still remember too much from the trailer and it'd ruin the movie knowing exactly what will happen. The exact opposite effect of what they want.

I really liked the "realistic" aspect of that fight. The only reason he could take them on was because they were shitty fighters choosing the wrong place to fight, negating their numbers and weapons advantage and trying to swing large objects around in a tiny corridor/doorway/bathroom.

It's like a more sober Jackie Chan scene.
