What are some great political thrillers?
I've watched
>The Ghost Writer
>The Manchurian Candidate
>Syriana
>All the President's Men
What else should I watch? I really enjoyed Syriana's direction and tone, same with Polanski's Ghost Writer.

THE KINGDOM IS AWESOME THOUGH IT GETS MORE BASIC AS IT MOVES FORWARD
THE MOVIE IS CONCENTRATED IN ITS OPENING SEQUENCE

RELUCTANT FUNDAMENTALIST WAS OK, SIDDIG DOES A GOOD JOB BUT PRETTY FORGETTABLE
>>71938126
>destroying people and nations under the guise of democracy
>not thrilling
>>71938252
WAIT THE SIDDIG ONE WAS CALLED INESCAPABLE
SAW BOTH, A BIT INTERCHANGEABLE OBVIOUSLY THOUGH NEITHER BAD
CLEANSKIN WITH SEAN BEAN WAS SURPRISINGLY GOOD

>>71938300
I tried to watch it a while ago, but I trust the shouting man. I'll give it another go.
Rendition is nice. Underrated film.

MORE RENDITIONING HAPPENS IN A MOST WANTED MAN
If you liked Michael Clayton this is somewhat similar.

Thanks for reminding me about this - RIP Phillip. I'll grab this too.
>>71938436
Sweet, will grab it too.
>>71938443
Don't forget Rendition my man. Similar to Syriana but not as wide in scope.

>>71938523
Did you not see Rules Of Engagement by the same writer?
Oh DAMN that reminds me OP, Rules Of Engagement by the guy who wrote/directed Syriana.
Also try Munich (2005) and The Baader Meinhof Complex.
>>71938541
in case you haven't heard, 4chan is just the mirror world tumblr now. It doesn't matter if a movie is actually well made or enjoyable, if it doesn't conform to your personal politics the only thing it's good for is using it as a platform to tell everyone how triggered you are.
Anyone seen Traffic? Any good?
>>71938642
Yeah, I've been here too long tbqh.

/pol/'s dream film. (Nothing to do with racism)

>>71939073
I've seen this and enjoyed it quite a bit. Is it because it sheds light on the fact that women are human, and that they lie and deceive too - as well as the themes of false allegations.?
>>71939095
Thanks for ruining it for OP
>>71938815
>Anyone seen Traffic? Any good?
Now that you mention it, Traffic is probably the only film that matches Syriana and its half a dozen plotlines. It's great, especially if you're a del Taco fan.
I... comme Icare
underrated gem.
>A most wanted man
>Tinker tailor soldier spy
>The constant gardener
>Blood Diamond
>Traffic
>Sicario
>Babel (ignore all the hate)
>Syriana (duh)
>Body of Lies
>Rendition
>Munich
>Spy game (not really that good, but I personally love it)
>The Jack Ryan movies (sum of all fears etc.)

Three Days of Condor
Parallax View
The International
The Package
Company Business
Fire Fox
>not having seen JFK
