The problem is 40k's ships are just too slow compared to other setting's ships. Yeah they are strong when they can bring their guns to bear, but traveling through the warp is too dangerous and takes too long. Also if any enemy found out that eliminating the emps on the golden throne would throw the IoM into complete chaos and turn long distance space travel into an impossibility, then it'd be over. True. Have to remember though that SM Wounds close and clot almost instantly, their skeleton is far denser + impact resistant, and they have multiples of several essential organs. On top of that each chapter has differing mutations due to the gene seed. They're also capable of resting half their brains like a dolphin, and relaxing/refreshing their bodies while still awake and on the move.
Depending on what chapter cap fights, he might end up fighting someone who never fatigued. Even naked, SM have something known as a black carapace implanted under their skin which is armor connected to their nerves so they can interface with their Power Armor.

The problem with all these VS Space Marines shit is that everything has governing rules in their own universe that limits what can and can't happen. Space Marines and the entirety of 40k don't. They're as mary sue as can be and perfect examples of the worf effect.
40k is designed with this intention as it enables players to customize their armies better.
