The only thing good about Reservoir Dogs was the beginning. The rest of the movie is boring and depressing schlock. Pulp Fiction is were he really hit his stride making movies about disturbing things, but making them not so disturbing through flashy and comedic elements.

Terrible opinions. You're all see through in your attempts to be contrarian so your taste seems more refined. It's wrong in the sense of the mainstream opinion, it's wrong in the sense of the critical opinion, and if you asked Maraschino, he would certainly tell you it wasn't his best movie and he's improved greatly over the years because, oh, because of increased skill, budget, and a more refined sense of what he wants to do. He gets to be himself more as he goes along and gets more artistic freedom.
Maybe you just can't handle any movie by him that has his distinct style and need entry level films by him so you feel comfortable that what you're watching is something that you're sure is good, rather than what is actually enjoyable.
