What are the most significant films ever made in terms of pioneering technical innovations?

the shining for steady cam?

400 Blows

It marks the major shift from classic to contemporary filmmaking. When it came out people called it documentary style although now it just seems completely normal.

Why do you keep posting this stupid thread?

At least you aren't posting that stupid fucking list still.

Hmm interesting. I saw this film but never knew it is much significant. I thought it's more about L'Avventura and Breathless.

What list?

CITIZEN BANE

I thought the chemical color grading they did for Seven made the movie look fantastic.

The Birth of a Nation and The Triumph of the Will.

BTW just saw the 'watchlist' one. Fucking hilarious. You've just gotten into film the last month and you're spouting all this bullshit. Explains why your threads are so awful.

You don't have to be mean to the guy, at least he's trying. Do you remember when you were that excited about movies? When you genuinely enjoyed them? I don't. I've long forgotten any sense of happiness or contentment I once gained from this hobby. I don't even remember if I ever enjoyed it to begin with. Kill me

OP here. You can use that archive of some of my threads posted above for movie suggestions. I'm watching them now and enjoying them a lot. I became disappointed in modern cinema, but know as I discovered older films I'm so happy, because many of them are so great! Just watch Vertigo and City Lights if you haven't seen them yet. I can guarantee you will enjoy them.
