Stop it.

Both are great films.

I love both, but I've got to give it to The Thing.
The Thing
Hands down
What's the question OP?
You just posted a picture of 2 movie and asked "Well?"
How in the living fuck are we meant to know what you talk about?
I don't really get why everyone likes The Thing so much
>>71775118
Evil Dead isn't even as good as its sequel.

This is tough.
The Thing obviously outclasses Evil Dead in the production department, but I can't help but feel a little for the underdog. I've read Bruce's book "If Chins Could Kill" and I know how hard a couple of young kids had to work to make their dream come true.
It's tough. In that regard, I'd say they're almost incomparable to me. I love both movies dearly.

I dunno either

Actually, I just thought of a way to sum up my feelings:
The Thing for the art, Evil Dead for the heart.

Thing hands down
The first Evil Dead isn't that good.
>>71775755
I mean, it's good but it really doesn't reach my feelungs

>Had remakes where the protagonist was changed to be a girl?
I love Evil Dead more but The Thing is the better movie. Sam Raimi was just getting his feet wet while Carpenter was in his goddamn prime.
I don't want to choose, fuck off op

>thinking feels are the most important aspect of a movie
Any movie can kill a puppy and make you feel. It isn't hard to manipulate people's emotions.
personally I preferred the evil dead, but I could see why you'd choose the thing.
