I loved a lot of the Channel 4 comedies (Brass Eye, Garth Merenghi, IT Crowd etc.) but I didn't really get Mighty Boosh, didn't find it funny.

My brother recommended it to me and I tried to like it. While I love Monty Python style humor, and I went in thinking it would be kind of like that, yeah I hated this.
yeah probably one of the biggest hit or miss shows of all time. But when it hit, it hit fucking hard.

Might Boosh is pretty GOAT, I wouldn't call it hit or miss my any measure, it just has a very idiosyncratic sense of humour. Still has some of the funniest comedy one liners of any show from the mid 2000's.

Garth Marengi and IT Crowd are god-tier. Mighty Boosh was never funny.
Best it got out of me was the occasional chuckle. I would genuinely lose it to some bits on IT Crowd.
I liked the anything with the monkey or wizards as a focus. Howard was okay but Noel Fieldings character was just annoying more times than not.
Its meh compared to other brit comedies with similar casts and absurdist humor. Anything by Matt Berry comes to mind as 100% better. But it's not garbage.
The Gary Numan and jazz jokes always got me

I liked it but preferred the boosh radio series
It resonates with a certain age group who grew up with shows like the Banana Splits and the Electric company and the music their parents listened to like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. For me, it hits the sweet spot.
