So what we're imagining here is that each day, trains arrive with prisoners on them who are then organised into able bodied males and non-able bodied males (those who can't be worked to death) and those non-able bodied males are then immediately shuffled into a gas chamber where they're dead within 20 minutes. The jewish workers then spend the rest of the day (and really they could have worked during the night too) cremating corpses.
This is an entirely believable process and matches well to established figures and records.

Then they threw him on the express train directly to Auschwitz where they gassed him not once, but thrice! Luckily he survived and managed to escape the camp by sneaking past the guards who had taken a vow to keep their eyes closed until they had wringed 10 babies to death every morning.
