I'm reading the comics right now, and honestly it's best to look at this as what they say, a "reimagining".
For some reason I'm not so ticked off because right off the gate they make sure you know that this isn't so much like the comics and honestly I'm fine with that. I'm reading the comics now and now I see why people are going all "Herr Star!!" and all that other shit but honestly, I don't know if I could see the whole "Hunters" arc getting translated into television. Not so much that it can't be done but the question is...if you'd WANT to see it.
I don't know if we all want to see a shot-by-shot recreation of the story either, but I think some people feel that as a show it's boring. They're waiting to see certain events take place, or certain characters show up and it's just not happening. Keep in mind we're in ep six.
But if you're not overly sensitive about the excess in violence and just overall fucked situations, I say go for the comics. I been enjoying myself so far.
