A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl’s phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day’s confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn’t exist in this universe at all. She is the girl’s alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC’s own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

Unfortunately over centuries records get fuzzy and the company in charge of bringing them back ceases to exist.
Finally, several thousand years later, they are brought back to find that biological humans are long-gone and 'humanity' exists as a singular collective consciousness which wants to study them for historical purposes.
This advanced consciousness has no conception of empathy or ethics and goes full Mengele on them

A District 9 style story of alien visitation told through cell phone recordings, news broadcasts and documentary footage. Done in an extremely realistic manner, the entire world is plunged into a state of confusion when a metallic orb falls from the heavens and lands in the frozen wastes of Siberia. The sphere is initially thought to be an alien space craft, but upon closer inspect, it's discovered that it's the alien itself. All the sphere seems to do is hover around, seemingly inspecting it's environment as the greatest minds in the world try to figure out exactly what it is and the greatest powers in the world try to figure out the best course of action.
