QUESTIONS
If the face huger lays the egg into the esophagus of the host, why wouldn't the host feel massive discomfort as the alien gestated and essentially clog the esophagus because the alternatives are the egg somehow punch a hole through the esophagus to which would be extremely painful for the host, or the egg would continue to slide down into the stomach and even if it survived the acid, there's no reason the alien wouldn't just chew out of the stomach and abdomen instead of the chest.
SECOND Why would the alien choose to punch through one of the hardest bones in the human body, the sternum, and not opt to move 6 inches down where there is no bones obstructing its path to escape its host? Also, with how easily it breaks through bone, why wouldn't the alien fly out of the host like a rocket and struggle with a thine layer of fabric?
Finally, Why not just freeze and remove the damn thing?
