Apparently most of the actors in this were contractual obligated to be in the movie or would risk getting sued. Essentially they were all conned into it thinking they were going to be in a different movie, unfortunately as soon as they realized what they were doing it was too late for them. There were a few actors that managed to get out of the deal like George Clooney.
