If you're going to start watching it, make sure you start with season 1 and don't stop until you have finished the series. The ending is worth it just for the character moments alone. There is a satisfying answer to what is Wilfred. Just keep with it.

It's great for one season. I had no interest in the "BUT DUDE WHAT IS WILFRED REALLY?" shit, and the later seasons just got up their own ass about asking that question over and over like it was some sort of intriguing mystery and not just a device for comedy.
