Absolutely loved tonight's episode. Literally both the start and the end had me jumping off of walls out of excitement and there were good bits in-between them too! I think this might have been the best episode so far. Also I don't know why the Saint has a beard but I'm not complaining because it kinda fits him to be honest, same with Jesse! I'm REALLY looking forward to the moment when Jesse realizes Cass is an actual fucking vampire and wasn't messing around. As for Odin's meat-woman fetish, I honestly have no clue in the slightest if that's going to happen. I want to believe, because on one hand it's kinda the big thing about his character, and I feel like it could pull in a lot of viewers through controversy, but on the other hand I kinda doubt AMC is bold enough for that, fingers crossed! Also, I've read the comics and although I did love them, I barely have a problem with how different this adaptation is. It really is different, I'll admit, but not really for the worse in MY opinion.

It's true. Reread the first arc and you can tell Ennis was making shit up as he went along. From the haphazard way the main characters were thrown together to the simple fact that the Saint of Killers couldn't kill Cassidy because Ennis admitted he hadn't thought Saint's powers through yet. That's not even accounting for the arc where we break from the entire plot and premise of the book and abandon all the supporting characters to focus on Jesse's stint as the one-eyed sheriff of a small town. The story is objectively shit; the reason it still gets praise is the character depth and interaction.
