Yes, someone will throw your 10/10 screenplay in trash because they don't know you. Sure mate. Also your screenplay isn't 10/10, I can tell you that right off the bat. People pursue degrees in this shit and are tutored by the likes of Kaufman, Coppola and Woody and things they turn in with recommendations are rarely straight out garbage but nobody ever does 10/10 anything, Matrix and Rocky don't happen every year, not to mention some older titles. Yet a lot of mediocre stuff get made because there is demand for certain sort of things.
You don't think millions of dollars are invested in garbage such as Divergent and producers can't give that crap to someone to read it and conclude 'this is bad' -- they know its bad, its supposed to be bad, its made for that reason, studios maintain certain standards of quality in all areas. Particularly sci-fi genre won't step up the game any time soon, I've seen some terrific scenarios that got rejected because you get something like that once a decade and you can have 20 mediocre movies such as Divergent per year and earn 10 times more money. Your scenario has a chance like any other, but don't fucking say its 10/10 without having others read it
