The Brits have never known how to do sound correctly, every British tv show I’ve seen cranks up the irrelevant background noises (footsteps, doors closing, cars driving by) all the way to 11, while the actors low-talk and mumble their lines while looking away from the camera.

Except, you know, the time he nearly got himself killed and actually got several men killed because he wanted revenge. Actually, it's not even that he wanted revenge, it's that he, for some bizarre reason, didn't want his men to see him exact it, therefore endangering the whole operation. That sequence was quite nonsensical.
