Read this if you have any interest in the case. It's the most interesting thing to come of it in the last few years.

Also one of the suspects who was obsessed with her was arrested for cp like two days ago
>>
>>71186187
>people born in 1995 are not underage anymore

disgusting
>>
We will never know. The evidence at the scene was messed with. Parents probably didn't do it. Intruder likely did.
>>
In cases like this where nothing adds up the most likely explanation is that the whole thing is a hoax to waste peoples' time.

So she's living somewhere and changed her identity?

>>71186560
No signs of a break-in

Why not? 50% chance of this being the case.
Checked.

Michael Jackson did it.
>>
>>71186140

I don't think the son did it. But he definitely knows his parents did it.

One of the parents did it, probably the mom, maybe accidentally and then tried to cover it up by staging the evidence.

It's disgusting that they got away with it. Really incompetent police investigation that fateful morning.

Random intruder theory is the dumbest theory. There was no evidence of a break in, the "ransom" note makes zero sense, and everything points to the parents.
>>
>>71189472
Was there any speculated motive?
It was just a random/accidental murder?
>>
>>71189703

Plenty. There was evidence of sexual abuse prior to the murder. Here are some theories:
- One or both parents were sexually abusing her, it went wrong and she died
- Jonbenet was a bedwetter (possibly tied to sexual abuse) and she wet her bed, Patsy (mom) was furious and was rough with her in the bathtub cleaning her up, Jonbenet hit her head and cracked her skull, parents freak out and cover it up by staging an abduction murder
- Brother was jealous of the attention she was getting and killed her, parents saw it and covered it up (highly unlikely IMO, he was only 10)

There's so many little details that don't make any sense. The fake ransom note, the fact that she had a fractured skull and had been strangled but they don't know which one came first, the potential history of sexual abuse, the fake sexual abuse at the scene of the crime with the paintbrush handle, the fact that her underwear had been changed the night of the murder but was a few sizes too big and didn't even fit, the 911 call from a Christmas party a few days before that was abruptly hung up, the parents not finding the body immediately in the morning after searching, and only finding it hours later on a "re-search" of the house, the fact that the police never conducted a proper search of the house, the fact that the dad carried the body up from the basement (rule #1 in a crime scene is don't touch anything)

IIRC a secret grand jury did indict the parents, but the prosecution decided not to go forward with it.

To believe the Rameys were guilty of this crime, you have to believe simultaneously that they were fantastically stupid, and that they were fantastically brilliant. They were not one of these things or the other; they were both.

If you were John and Patsy Ramsey, and you accidentally killed your daughter, and you then decided to try to get by with it, what would you do?

Within a mile of their house were snow-covered mountains. What you would do, if you were even moderately composed, would be to take the body out somewhere to the snow covered mountains, and dispose of the body in such a way that it wouldn't be found for months, if ever. You would return to the house, you would clean up everything that you could possibly clean up, and then you tell the police that you had absolutely no Idea what had happened. He woke up in the morning and the door was wide open and JonBenet was gone.

>To believe the Rameys were guilty of this crime, you have to believe simultaneously that they were fantastically stupid, and that they were fantastically brilliant. They were not one of these things or the other; they were both.

Gee golly it's almost like they were two different people!

John was logical, cold, and calculating. Patsy was emotional and stupid. Patsy was responsible for that stupid note and probably most of the staging.

>IIRC a secret grand jury did indict the parents, but the prosecution decided not to go forward with it.
That's not how it works.
>>

are those "people" yourself included?
>>
>>71191800

In Colorado, yes it is.

Anyways, it was just a leaked rumor.

dude just fucking google it
>>
>>71189515
there were footprints leading to a basement window near where she was killed. and the person that had boots that matched committed "suicide" by shooting himself twice in the side
>>
>>71192016

The window was broken before the murder and was a tiny window. If a fully grown man went in or out through the window, he would leave tons of evidence, and DNA, and blood from cutting on the glass.

I think John even admitted he broke the window at some earlier point.

Dude just think about a random intruder. Somehow he would have to have the balls to kidnap a girl under the noses of her family, while breaking a window (loud), somehow finding her room and getting her to the basement with her screaming, then kill her with two different means (skull fracture and strangling), then fake a sexual assault, then write a ridiculous fake ransom note with pen and paper from the house.

It's the most absurd notion.

Theres a pretty substantial conspiracy theory that she is Katy Perry

>–]MarkBeckner[S] 22 points 3 days ago
Most investigators do not believe there was a legitimate point of entry. It is unknown how an intruder may have gotten in. Lou Smit always believed it was the basement window, but we did not agree with him, as the dust and spider web were undisturbed.

>Can you clarify the condition of the snow ground cover the morning the first officer arrived? Was it patchy or solid and were any footprints ever noted by the open window leading away?
It was patchy from an older snowfall, but there was frost on the ground from the humidity and temperature that night. No footprints were observed near the window well or on the deck to JonBenet's bedroom.
