Did they ever explain Michael's creepy obsession with Ryan in the early seasons? Was it Michael's autism seeping in that he wanted to be Ryan's friend and maybe even a mentor but it coming off like he was a creepy old gay male stalker due to the autism? Or just Michael being jealous/envious of Ryan being young and having his whole life ahead of him?
