No, we would like for characters who are versed in battle to actually show that they are so, rather than use vastly misunderstood modern misconceptions of how those arms and armor were used.
Tactical mistakes can be a part of the writing, sure, but charging horses into horses is so incredibly stupid that I question whether the writers ever stopped to think about why their own complaints about the cost of shooting film with horses in it didn't have some resemblance to the cost of maintaining cavalry in prior eras.

By killing Joffrey he helped create a power vacuum in KL which forced some of his opponents out of KL (Varys, Tyrion) and most likely he was given some benefit from the tyrell family if that is indeed the case. Not really sure why he would get Lysa to send Cat the Jon conspiracies - did he even do that? Lysa probably would have done it herself either way, and it's Jon Arryns investigations into the lannister kids that started the whole shit in the first place, so again maybe he just wanted to create unrest so that he could manipulate it to seize power. It's hard to say what his motivations are beyond power and fucking sansa, because everything he does involves constantly switching sides or betraying someone so that he can stay on the winning team or gain more power himself.

Jon's fine with that, he's not fighting to be king or Lord, he fought to protect Sansa, get their home back and get their brother back.
Sansa doesn't think Jon is that simple though and doesn't trust him, So she thinks he'd try and pull shit at some point cause he has the bigger army. that's why Sansa kept pushing her Stark name and didn't tell him about the Vale, she wants the bigger army, she wants the North, she wants revenge and she doesn't want Jon in the way or even give him the possibility of getting in the way

I think she assumed Jon and Rickon would be dead at that point. She'll go along with Jon being named king on the outside but she'll be bitter inside and ask Petyr for help in exchange for saying yes to whatever he asks.
