Which in turn sets up Varys returning to Kings Landing as he gets himself back into Cersei's good graces as a spy by way of presenting the heads of the women who murdered her daughter.

I would be OK with Dorne if they just left them out of season 6. It was find the way they ended it in Season 5, Dorne could have been forgotten about and Myrcella's death could have been accomplished without too much damage being done. But then for no reason they added Trystane and Doran's murder, which added nothing to the show except some cheap deaths.
