I unironically enjoy Die Another Day more than Spectre and QoS. I hope the new bond can find a balance. Even Craig's best (Casino Royale) got boring during the second half.

Answer me this, do the Craig films feel like James Bond films or something else entirely? Brosnan's films still felt like Bond films (weak ones towards the end) but still Bond films. DaD is not a great film but it felt like Brosnan's Moonraker. Craig's feel like a weird mutation between Bond and Bourne in response to the public wanting something different. I'm just saying the Craig films don't follow the formula intentionally because they're trying to be new and groundbreaking.
Spectre and QoS are shitty sequels that don't understand the spirit of the previous films even if you differentiate between Craig bond and traditional film Bond. QoS doesn't understand what made CR great and Spectre doesn't understand what made Skyfall great.
In my opinion I don't care for Craig's bond but I still admit that CR and Skyfall are great films. That's why I didn't mention them. In my opinion, cheesy as hell Brosnan at his worst is better than boring Craig at his worst. Craig has better highs but bigger lows. I'm talking about their bond performances, not movie quality because DaD sucks and Brosnan is one of the better things in it meanwhile Spectre is weak and so is Craig in that.
