How come no one talks about this movie? I found it incredibly charming and a decent adventure with an AMAZING score.

I loved it as a babby, rented it from the VHS rental store multiple times.
Was a solid movie. Loved it as a kid. Still holds up. Even the CGI doesn't age too terribly, even though plenty of the compositing does in a number of scenes.
Very comfy movie and that damn score...too much feels.

I had this movie and Excalibur on VHS as a kid.

all those feels, you broke me man. i forgot about this childhood trauma.
AND YOU BROUGHT IT BACK!
Too bad every sequel ever made was a complete disappointment.

Back when PG-13 meant something, anyone else think Bowen is an underrated tragic character?
>tries to teach knightly values to kid but fails to see that he doesn't care and is actually a vindictive cunt
>refuses to accept that the blame was his and goes around exterminating any dragons he can find
>befriends the last dragon in existence only to realize he has to kill him to save the kingdom
Heavy as fuck.

I remember renting this on VHS and watching it with my dad as a kid. One of the few fond childhood memories I have with him.

Its a solid movie but i could never really like it
I guess its because i never really got what message it was trying to tell, if any
See that Windows 95 seal?
I got the Dragonheart game as a gift for Christmas, and bugged my father for days so he'd buy Windows 95 for me to play it (we had 3.11).
Extremely cozy movie and game.

Greek tragedy. You also effectively find out that he's really the last knight as well. The old dies with him basically.
