The recruitment montage was some of the cringiest shit I've ever seen. Couple that with shit villains, horrible acting (apart from Magneto and Charles of course) and cliché dialogue and it's a 4/10 flick at best.

There's a difference between the occasional joke to lighten the mood and non-stop quipfest that is the MCU. Even Man of Steel and BvS had jokes but they came in sparingly. Foxmen has the perfect balance between dark & gritty and quippy & corny.
