What's the update on Cameron's Avatar 2, Avatar 3, Avatar 4 & Avatar 5 sequels? And do you think all these sequels were necessary?

I think it's kind of exciting because Cameron is making this large saga and its' not based on a pre-existing story (in b4 pocahontas)
We literally have no idea what kind of crazy shit he's up to. Different landscapes, worlds, species (if you think there wont be different planets youre crazy imo).
And considering how ahead of it's time the CG was in 2009, im sure the effects when these sequels are out will be beyond mindblowing.
