Classical music isn't formulaic, rhythms aren't used as a fancy metronome but to add to a piece, they don't usually last long, sometimes they're barely there, and sometimes they dominate the piece.
If you were to write a book with all the different rhythms used during all the history of Western art music you'd run out of paper, it's far more than some guy kicking a drumset in a 4/4 beat with sometimes a syncopation or an awful masturbatory solo.
Or if it's jazz, the same but with a swing rhythm.
