I like Interstellar a lot and I forgive that part for everything else it did well but even I can see it was a pretty retarded way of doing it. And then he was using a watch to translate "quantum data" into Morse code through a bookcase... I wish they'd just handwaved it a bit rather than give such a retarded explanation.
