I'm a massive lostfag, so this is definitely up my alley. Never seen Twin Peaks or Wayward Pines though, need to get on that. Other similar shows/movies?

I wouldn't recommend Wayward Pines. It acts like it is a Twin Peaks rip off but it is not and the way in which they are different is terrbile for WP. Twin Peaks is great (at least season 1 and second half of 2)
After you find out what is going on in WP it is plain shit and losts all its mystery (which was shitty even then and they do it very early)

It was forced,everything felt artificial and gimmicky, it didnt have any of the organic charm a speilberg movie would have.
It couldve been fixed by a longer runtime and slower pacing imo
