Urth of the New Sun would make a good movie to be honest. It has a lot of beautiful cinematic potential (the silvers sails of the space ship, Yesod, the white fountain, the time travel sequences). Even though it's a coda to BoTNS, it still exists pretty well on its own, and the narrative technique sort of makes both a prequel and a sequel, so if people are hooked they can go read the BotNS.
