He completely lost it in the 90s. It's amazing how much of an actor's talent can be in the voice. If you had only seen his movies from the 90s onwards you'd have no idea why he's so revered. That's why I'm not anticipating the Scorsese/DeNiro/Pacino movie with any excitement.
