The unfortunate truth is that Noe is not that smart. He idolizes 2001 but he's never going to write an intelligent script.
We just have to appreciate him for what he is, rather than hate him for not being Kubrick 2.0.

Enjoyable simply because of how different it is from basically any standard, but lacking in much other than novelty.

I just saw Love, and the acting was bad, the shooting was never interesting and it was abit cringy that the girl's favorite poem was the one Gaspar picked up when watching Deathproof, it wasn't the whole poem even. Also it felt somewhat directionless.
