I dont consider Wolverine's costume any less ridiculous than Spider-Man's, and the attempt at a realistic and costumeless Fantastic Four failed miserably. It's funny Fox didn't want to make Deadpool, they did his costume and tone right and it was a big success. If you think Wolverine and Deadpool together, at least for me, it wouldn't be right if they weren't both in costume.

But if you ever read Wolverine comics he lives in a world where thats what people like him wear and its normal, so when he is about to do something violent its like putting on a work uniform.
