You're more annoying than the fag that posts Paula Humby, shut the fuck up.

I hope people watch season 2, so we get a season 3

>No fear in death
>just lamenting that they lost
>"I didn't think we could lose."
I fucking love the Martians.
posting another webm from The Expanse
One of my fave moments of movie magic
>>70489203
I am biased but I love the fact the mormons are in the expanse.
>>70489322
i'm thankful a mormon bro in an Expanse thread explained the significance of that webm a long while back.
that was really cool to see
>>70489391
It's that Mormons believe that Heaven is a real place and it's a planet in space, right?
>>70489018
I'm not necessarily talking about oxygen deprivation. A projectile that could punch through that much metal would have an enormous amount of kinetic energy. What sort of speeds have we achieved IRL with railguns? Like five times the speed of light or something? It would have had an effect on the immediate surroundings of the projectile.
>>70489451
I dunno! Ha, but it was more about the golden statue in that webm and the name of their ship that was being built for their pilgrimage.
>>70489391
Yep, and they did the Moroni statue right too, they actually did the faith right (Not sure if it was me or another Mormon Anon that was talking about it) not making it too perfect but not taking cheap shots at it.
>>70489502
>What sort of speeds have we achieved IRL with railguns? Like five times the speed of light or something?
Is this a joke?
>>70489502
>Like five times the speed of light or something?

absolutely disgusting
>>70489502
>hat sort of speeds have we achieved IRL with railguns? Like five times the speed of light or something?
Five times the speed of sound perhaps? We not able to get anything remotely close to the speed of light anon.
>>70489451
Okay, as a mormon we do belive in heaven.
We also belive that god was once like us and perfected, and if we continue to progress in this life and the afterlife we too can earn a level of Apotheosis, as all men and women are the literal spirit children of god.
The Statue is of a very important angel in Mormon Theology (Moroni), and Navoo was a city founded by Mormons in Illinois before they were burned out by anti-mormons and forced to move to mexico (Now Utah)
>>70489744
neck yaself
>>70489185
Is that Simon Pegg?
>>70489702
Think it as a bullet going through paper, sure, the bullet has a lot of kinetic energy, but it doesn't spread through the paper, it continues mostly in the projectile because it was barely stopped, same with the raingun and the ship.
>>70489185
is that simon pegg and the ugly hemsworth brother?
>>70489451
The planet in space is not heaven, but where god lived in his mortal life. It is referred to as kolob.
>Yes, the original Battle-star Galatica was made by a mormon
Back on the Expanse, they found a 6 foot Pacific Islander Kickboxer to play big red.
>>70489817
Ya
>>70489948
i follow the authors on twitter and have been keeping up news for the show. the new casting looks great though i'm unfamiliar with her work she has the right look at least.

>I will never meet carrie coon
>I will never kiss Carrie Coon
>She will never have my children
;___;
>>70490023
It really felt like Syfy had been hoarding money from all their crap shows over the years just to do the Expanse, how else do you explain?
fucking money.
>>70490078
Hahadon't remind me
>>70490023
Season 1 of the expanse was more expensive then a Season of GOT. the Production company is selling the Expanse at cost to Syfy, and making money on DVD/Streaming/international sales. Also, it being used as a tax shelter by some investors.
>>70490187
I actually don't like the leftovers that much.
>Carrie coon got naked in it.
I fathered a kid that night
>>70490316
I know you don't buddy and that's alright.
Also good job.
>>70490452
i miss this show so much.
also, i think i found myself binge eating whenever i watched it simply because of the food.
>>70490452
Is this the most visually pleasing show ever, honestly?
>>70490575
Can't wait for American Gods
>>70490675
Utopia cameclose and also had an atmosphere of dread to it.
>>70490401
Just wish she got nude in season 2. I understand why people like the leftovers however. It alright that people like it.
And thank you.

This is D&D when your fighting something tough and one of the PCs rolls a nat 20.
>Okay, I am going to forget I said that and pretend I am not a nerd.

I was surprised that this movie was actually pretty good

>>70488916

>>70492993
The original TMNT movie? I'd say yeah, if only for the level of detail given to the turtles, top notch animatronics.
>>70492956
This worth watching? Will it at least entertain me at 2AM?
>>70492711
It really isn't that bad. I was going in with low expectations.it better then event horizon.
>>70493072
is this a man
>>70493126
Yes, it is a great 2am movie for not expecting much
These Expanse webms are somewhat impressive. I am a jaded sci fi faggot though. I think Babylon 5 is the best we've ever gotten, should I give this a shot?
>>70493434
it's really beyond what anyone would expect from syfy. the world building they do is amazing and the effects are top tier.
>>70493278
No it's very much a gal, names Pollyanna Mcintosh, she's a tall un at 5'10
>>70493434
You should if you dig B5, probably it's weakest link is one of the MC's being kind of bleh but everyone else does a damn good job, and Thomas Jane's character is AMAZING by the end of it.
>>70493521
don't forget to mention the waifus
>>70493434
Best series in years. All of it takes place inside the solar system, no faster then light travel, no gravity unless the engines are pulling 1 g of acceleration. Huge budget (like 4 million a episode)
>>70493526
Thanks for clearing that up, but to be honest I was going to fap either way.
>>70493521
>>70493526
>>70493599
Cheers guys I'm going to give it a shot then. Feels surreal getting somewhat intrigued by any tv show really, but especially a sci fi one.
>>70493668
>but to be honest I was going to fap either way.

kstew was such a sexy little boi
>>70493714
is this a right wing death squad leader?
>>70493960
There is more then a few pounds of truth in that comment. I was seriously confused why they where calling the boy a girls name.
>>70493974
Woo woo, dat buttocks.
>>70494015
Nah it turns outthe woman he capped was using her little clinic to scout out potential women of pleasure for ISIS terrorists
>>70494015
IIRC, the woman was selling girls to be sex slaves in ISIS.
>>70494120
>using a fucking trackpad to fly
p sure thats how russians play war thunder
>>70488930
man so many cuts... that's why jackie chan will always be GOAT
>>70494189
It is Indian
>>70494082
Now I think about it, that a recurring theme. Didn't supergirl get sold as a harem girl in season 1?
>>70494200
not that many really and it's at least using a wide angle camera for the most part.
Funny thing is, the fighting in that is in direct response to criticisms about Romeo must die being all high flying and "unrealistic" so the whole movie uses more grounded fighting, it's a damn same they also had to ask some of the fights to slow their movements since they didn't have the tech at the time to capture them properly.
>>70494462
Goddamn do I want another Detective Loki movie, really good protagonist.
28 cuts in 28 seconds.

Prior to the war he was a accountant. As a college graduate with some training in high school (Think ROTC) he was given a commission.

Frankie Adams, soap actress on NZ's only soap (Shortland Street). Also an amateur boxer for events like the Fight For life. She's 6foot tall so they'll still need camera tricks if they bother with trying to make her look like the book's 6'5 Martian Marine.
>>70490041
Fuck knows what all those boarders thought they could accomplish by shooting hand weapons at a Martian gun frigate. The armour shielding that prevents the crew from dying to space radiation is enough to stop small arms, let alone anything else they'd bolt on to stop another ship's PDW's from penetrating.
