its kinda unnecessary but i do think its better mainly because i think the actors are better. i personally cant stand german acting most of the time. feels off for me lots of times
Eh, I think it is necessary. Haneke always wanted Funny Games set in the US but he had to set the original in Austria due to practicality.
I consider this the essential version. Not only because of the better acting and camera quality. But because it's Haneke's preference.

this is true, watched a foreign movie literally once in my life, my head hurt, it felt like I was reading a book. we're just not used to it, there is NOTHING in out media sphere that is not in english(except mexican, but only spics watch that)
