Why is Disney so insistent on making all their movies feel like they came off an assembly line?
I thought the point of these spin-offs were to be a change in tone and feel from the main "Episode" films in the saga. Edwards wanted to make a gritty Star Wars movie with emphasis on the Wars part, now we are going to get more of the same. Thanks Disney.

Disney are an evil company that only care about money, anything raw are edgy or dark will scare the money away.
Look at the history of Disney, they took old European fairy tails, some of them that are actually really fucking dark and made them into family friendly cartoons for everyone.

I'm not a fan of it, but didn't the studios see what a cape movie pulled , with a tiny budget and an R rate. If anything even with its quips deadpool should've shown the studios that the world is ready for a darker product inside main stream shit. It made a ton of money, without sacrificing language and violence, why can't they try just for once, to take a risk you know if rogue one flops they already have 4 other star wars movies lined up, fuck shit up, take a leap of faith. But that won't happen play it safe, make a billion dollars, people are literally watching the same movie with different actors, over and over again, it's like eating at Mcdonalds every day, because you are afraid you might get diarrhea if you eat at a burger joint, why not try it, you might be surprised and find something new to eat.
